Skoda is ditching diesel for its facelifted Fabia, which will instead be offered only with the VW Group’s range of 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrols.

In naturally aspirated form this means 59bhp or 74bhp, while turbos get 94bhp or 108bhp – the latter being the only Fabia with a dual-clutch auto box.

Styling tweaks are minor, but safety kit has been improved with the option of blind-spot monitors and automatic high-beam assist. Skoda will also offer its 6.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.Read more at www.oktilli.com
